Horns Drove Community Preschool was formed in 1985 by parents seeking a playgroup for their children in the village of Rownhams, Southampton. In 2007, we moved to a new purpose built lodge and we started RASCALS, our very popular after school and holiday club.

The voluntary Directors are looking to appoint a successful Childcare Manager who is self-motivated, reliable, good with people and is used to prioritising a busy workload.

Working closely with the Deputy Pre-School Manager and RASCALS Manager, you will ensure we provide a high level of quality childcare whilst maintaining a professional manner and positive outcomes for children, staff and the community.

You will work effectively with all team members to ensure the best possible opportunities are available for every child.

You will perform administrative duties that support the Directors, help set the strategic direction, review current practices, manage budgets, and meet targets.

In return, we can offer you:

  • A committed team of Directors and Staff who want the best for all the children in their care.
  • A supportive, experienced team.
